Bank of America Plaza Wahaso Case Study for Cooling Tower Make Up

Project

Bank of America Plaza, Los Angeles, CA, Wahaso Case Study

Bank of America Plaza, Los Angeles, CA serving its surrounding area. Wahaso was approached to try and reduce the amount of water they were using for cooling tower makeup using groundwater which was previously discharged to sewer.

Upon analysis, the water quality was basically good though high in hardness (as CaCO3) In order to reuse this water for cooling tower makeup, the water needed to be treated to remove hardness and reduce overall conductivity.
